Hi, my name is
Liangji Yu.
I build unique digital experiences.
About Me
I'm currently a Quant Developer at Amelco, where I build and optimise sports trading systems and backend infrastructure. My work combines quantitative thinking with software engineering, pipelining complex models and ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions. I enjoy solving challenging problems across distributed systems, performance optimisation, and modern software architecture.
I hold an MSc in Computing with Distinction from Imperial College London and a First Class BSc in Computer Science from the University of Manchester. My technical background spans Python, C#, Java, TypeScript, SQL, React, .NET Framework, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes, with interests ranging from machine learning and optimisation to large-scale systems design.
Outside of work, I'm passionate about learning new technologies and exploring different programming languages, frameworks, and platforms. I regularly build side projects, experiment with new tools, and tackle algorithmic challenges to sharpen my problem-solving skills. I thrive on steep learning curves and enjoy understanding how complex systems work from the ground up.
